Isshuukan Friends (TV)

Isshukan Friends is about the relationship between two students, Kaori Fujimiya and Yuuki Hase, which always restarts every Monday. Kaori is living her school life alone because all of her happy memories, including time spent with her friends, disappear every Monday. Yuuki decided that he wants to be friends with her anyway and tries to get close to Kaori each week, wishing that she would one day call him “a friend”.

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (TV)

Tatsuya Shiba and his sister Miyuki are enrolling to First High School which ranked their students according to their test scores. Students with great grades are called Bloom where Miyuki enrolled, while those with low grades are called Weed where Tatsuya enrolled because bad magic practical score. They have to endure pressure from other Bloom students who bullied Weed students and terrorism from rebel organization.

Keroro (TV)

Keroro is a frog-like alien sent from his home planet on a mission to conquer Earth. But when his cover is blown, his battalion abandons him and he ends up in the home of the Hinata family. There, he’s forced to do household chores and sleep in a dark basement that was once supposedly a prison cell haunted by the ghost of an innocent girl. He even spends his free time assembling Gundam model kits. During his stay, Keroro meets up with subordinates who were also stranded during their failed invasion.

Blade and Soul (TV)

The story revolves around Alka, a swordswoman who uses a blade that can cut enemies with one attack. Alka travels in order to get revenge for her teacher, Hon, who was killed. The one who killed him was Jin Valel, a woman who heartlessly steals the lives of people like a monster. However, as she is part of the same assassination clan, the “Blade Clan,” she feels that she is similar to her. During her travels, Alka meets three women. The master of song and dance Karen, the alcohol and gun-loving Hazuki, and Roana, the head of a band of thieves.

Tsugumi Harudori is a halberd and a new student at Death Weapon Meister Academy. She is a part of the NOT class and is there to learn how to control her powers, not to fight or become a Death Scythe. Tsugumi must learn about and adapt to the quirks of DWMA, as well as select a meister.

Seikoku no Dragonar (TV)

Learning to ride and tame dragons comes easy to most students at Ansarivan Dragonar Academy—except for first-year student Ash Blake, who is known by his fellow classmates as the “number one problem child.” Poor Ash is the laughing stock at school because, despite his unfashionably large star-shaped brand that marks him as a future dragon master, he has nothing to show for it. His dragon has never appeared.

Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to (TV)

A slice of life of mangaka Aito Yuuki and his assistant Ashisu Sahoto. With his strict editor Mihari Otosuna and air-head assistant Rinna Fuwa, starts a mangaka life full of comedy and romance.

Hitsugi no Chaika (TV)

Toru Acura is a 20-year-old retired soldier meandering through life now that the war has ended. The two travel with Toru’s adopted sister, Akari, the employed member of the group and thus Toru’s source of income.

My personal picks are Isshukan Friends, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara and Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to! I’ve been following these series from manga and light novels, and they’re very interesting. I really hope each studio do their best to bring life to the anime. Let’s continue at part 2!
