Held in the first week of September over the weekends at the Jakarta Convention Center was the Anime Festival Asia 2013. With over 40,000 attracted in the first Anime Festival Asia 2012. Anime Festival Asia continues to be the top Anime and Japanese Culture event in Indonesia. Back for the 2nd time in Indonesia packed with brand new contents, artist line-up and exclusive merchandise for the fans to experience themselves in the 3 days events.
Starting of the AFA 2013 press conference held in Main Atrium Plaza Senayan Jakarta with Stella Lee as the guest host for the first time in AFA. Joining her together on stage is Danny Choo, Culture Japan producer who will be hosts for AFA ID 2013.
Sponsors of AFA ID 2013, Mr Shawn Chin (AFA Festival Director, SOZO), Mr Naoki Sekina (Zepp Live Entertainment), Mr Shaane Harjani (Marygops Studios) and Mr Wendy Chandra (Megindo). Giving their opening speech and explaining to the crowd on what they can be expecting in the festival. As they will be bringing back a brand new experience to the festival.
Follow by Mr Yoshinori Katori (Ambassdor of Japan) was invited on stage to give his speech. Taking the opportunity, Mr Yoshinori Katori introduced Japan Week and Jak-Japan Matsuri Festival sharing about the Japanese Culture.
Next up, we have celebrity cos players Kaname (Japan), Richfield (Indonesia), Ying Tze (Malaysia) Angie (Malaysia) introducing themselves and posing for the cameras.
The cute maids from Moe Moe Kyun Maid Cafe and handsome buttlers from Atelier Royale Butler Cafe who will be serving you at AFA ID 2013.
Finally, the highlight of the day that fans that have there been waiting for. Aya Hirano, Eir Aoi and May’n coming up next. Fans welcomed their idols with cheers and screaming their hearts out as they came on stage.
This is their first time being here in Indonesia and at the same time for their fans to meet them upclose in person. Introducing themselves with Bahasa Indonesia to the crowd followed by a short photo session.
Fans all around the area were cheering like mad for their favourite artist on the stage, living up the event area before the official closing of the press conference.
