Eitherway, from the same bunch of people who created the Tokyo Girls Show, comes the Marble collection. It’s “an extravaganza that integrates fashion, theatrical performance, dance and more into one production” according to the media release. Sounds kinda interesting, yah?

Marble Collection in Japan and who’s coming

Within the show, we’ll be touring the 3 distinct fashion zones of Tokyo, Harajuku, Shinjuku and Akihabara. The show itself has had a few successful run already in Japan since 2011. And have featured fashion icons like Tenchim and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

For their first show in Singapore, Tenchim will be attending with 8 other Japanese model/fashion bloggers with performances by Dancer Kikkie, Wotage performer Ginyu Force and appearances by idol group Love La Dolls.

Casting calls have been made to Singapore fashion bloggers and dancers to allow for unique exposure. Local fashion bloggers and dancers who are interested to be part of this production may visit www.bgirlscafe.com for more information or to register for the audition.

Anime Festival Asia to showcase first ever fashion entertainment show and highly anticipated anime movie premiere 

Singapore, 26 October 2012 – Anime Festival Asia, the region’s largest anime and Japanese popular culture experiential festival announced two major developments for this year’s line-up today. The highly popular genre-less fashion entertainment show, Marble Fashion, will be showcased in Singapore for the first time, during Anime Festival Asia 2012. The fashion show, will include specially customized fashion content just for Anime Festival Asia, and feature a mix of Japanese and local talent. For anime lovers, an exclusive Singapore movie premiere of the immensely popular anime series, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, will be screened in the festival, with exclusive merchandise made available.

The Marble Collection – fashion story to unfold in Singapore for the first time

Marble Collection, an extravaganza that integrates fashion, theatrical performance, dance and more into one production, will showcase distinctive styles from the shopping meccas of Harajuku, Shibuya and Akihabara. Brought direct from Japan and produced by the team that put together the famous Tokyo Girls Collection, The Marble Collection is set to dazzle and entertain audiences in Singapore and the region. The unique fashion culture show production is known to be genre-less, and is directed by Junya Yamada, the No.1 director in Asia from DRUMCAN Inc. (http://www.drumcan.com/). He is behind numerous shows for popular Japanese street fashion brands, including the TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION, and the Uniqlo fashion show launch in Singapore in 2009.

Held in Singapore for the first time, the show will feature “Akihabara” fashion style for the first time, specially developed for Anime Festival Asia 2012, to match the festival’s anime-related content. Up to 9 influential fashion models, including Tenchimu and Shiina Hikari, will be flown from Japan to perform and showcase the styles here. The performance in Singapore will include local fashion bloggers as well.  Details on the show are available in the Annex.

For fashion enthusiasts who can’t get enough of the Marble Collection, select apparels and products such as PRISILA Wigs will be available for purchase at the Marble booth at festival grounds.

Exclusive Puella Magi Madoka Magica content and merchandise at Anime Festival Asia

Anime Festival Asia is proud to be in exclusive partnership with Aniplex, on behalf of Madoka Movie Project, to be the first to present the Puella Magi Madoka Magica Movie in Singapore. “Part 1: Beginning” and “Part 2: Eternal” of the movie trilogy will be screened in Singapore at this year’s Anime Festival Asia.

The immensely popular anime set a record in TV Anime history by selling more than 53,000 copies of blu-ray of the TV series’ first volume in just within a week of its release. The second volume broke the first volume’s record. The highly anticipated movie is an adaptation of the 12-episode series and also includes new elements not previously found in the anime series. “Part 1: Beginning” premiered on 6 October 2012, and “Part 2: Eternal”, which was released on 13 October in Japan, topped the box office in its debut weekend.

For fans who are keen on getting their hands on the latest merchandise for this movie, exclusive merchandise specially imported from Japan will be available for purchase at the Madoka booth in festival grounds.

Ticket sales for the movie screening has commence on 24th October at 12 noon. Tickets may be purchased physically or online at EventClique. Early bird 2 day screening package is priced at $45, thereafter, on the 1st of November at 12 noon, a 2 day package will cost $52, and single day tickets cost $28 per day. Each ticket purchased also includes a special movie premium package and ticket prices do not include access to the festival, stage or the concerts.
