Synopsis:

In the Kingdom of Fiore where magic is the way of life, powerful wizards make their living by joining magical guilds and contracting out their services to become “wizards for hire”.

Harnessing the forces of Dragon Fire, Ice, Weaponry, and the Zodiac, four young wizards named Natsu, Gray, Erza and Lucy, as well as their talking-and-flying cat Happy of the infamous guild Fairy Tail team up to seek their fortunes.

Growing stronger with every mission, they travel the countryside helping people and battling rival guilds. But with personalities as different as their magic skills, the team may end up doing more damage than good…

Continuing the action in Fairy Tail, the magical adventure gets more exciting and explosive! After Natsu defeated Laxus at the close of the first season, the anime enters the “Nirvana” story arc as six powerful wizards attempt to unseal a powerful spell to bring destruction. Fans can expect new characters including dragon slayer Wendy Marvell and her cat companion Charle to join the fray.

Fairy Tail is co-produced by top anime studios A-1 Pictures (Kuroshitsuji, Valkyria Chronicles) and Satelight (Macross Frontier, Hellsing OVA). Fairy Tail features top voice actresses Aya Hirano (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Death Note) and Rie Kugimiya (Shakugan no Shana, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) as the voices of lead characters Lucy and Happy respectively.

Konami developed an action video game for the PlayStation Portable titled ‘Fairy Tail: Portable Guild’ and it was unvailed and released in 2010 followed by its sequel that was released on March 10, 2011. Fighting games entitled ‘Fairy Tail Gekito! Madoshi Kessen’ and ‘Fairy Tail Gekitotsu! Kardia Daiseido’ were also released for the Nintendo DS console in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Below is a preview for the game console PlayStation Portable.
