Anime is serious business in Japan, with it amounting to a growing to become one of the most lucrative cultural export for Japan, it means big money.

Thus, not even the Quake can stop it. The Association of Japanese Animations and the Ministry of Economy today announce the Tokyo International Anime Festival(Fall) to be held at the Akihabara UDX on the 27th and 28th of October.

It will also be featuring the 9th World Creators forum.

This event unlike the previously held Tokyo International Anime Fair in spring, will only be open for businesses, with functions like business matching, seminars and information sharing.

So this means… It’s will not be open to public, which is a waste really.
