Bandai Visual will release the first Blu-ray volume of Kyōkai Senjō no Horizon with English subtitles in Japan this 22th December. They have also confirmed that there will only be Blu-ray release.

There will be two versions of the Blu-ray, the regular and limited first edition. The regular edition Blu-ray will have the first episode, promotional videos, commercials, the first pre-broadcast introduction video for the characters on the Musashi, and the first pre-broadcast video seminar on the Far East setting of the story.

The limited first edition will include the novel Genesis Series: Kyōkai Senjō no Horizon Kimi to Asa Made I by the original author Minoru Kawakami, a special CD with music tied to the novel, and an exclusive eight-page booklet. The package will also have footage from the press conference announcing the anime (with Jun Fukuyama, Minori Chihara, Minoru Shiraishi, and director Manabu Ono), audio character commentary, a package illustrated by character designer Tomoyuki Fujii, and a clear case.

The anime will premiere in Japan on October 1. Look out for it.

Another thing to note is that the production committee decided that the official English title will be Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere instead of the previously used Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere.
