After just 3 days of operation, the Taiwan AKB48 shop is forced to close temporary in order to meet the minimum safety standard for the building housing the shop.
The reason stated for the closure is that even after Mayuyu’s visit for the opening handshake event, there is still a strong crowd going to the shop, thus having the need for the building’s supervisor to shut the place in the name of safety.
It’s mentioned that the shop will be back in July, with a possible new temporary location, capable of handling the crowd.
I don’t know if this is a good or a bad thing, but if you are hoping to visit the Taiwan store this June holiday…. too bad for you. However the official oversea AKB48 store are still in operation in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Now imagine Taiwan having a AKB48 Theater… … … wow the logistic will be hell… … Seriously, so many people appeared for a handshake session with Mayuyu…
