On April 1st, mangaka Araki Hirohiro launched his first official website in order to celebrate two anniversaries: his 30th year as a mangaka (2011) and his 25th year drawing “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure” (2012).
Since starting its serialization in the late 80s, over 75 million volumes of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” have been printed. The manga, which revolves around the the Joestar family, is known for using unique onomatopoeia and body poses.
The website currently contains information about Araki’s work, events, and related products, and is linked to the author’s Twitter account. Celebrations for the two anniversaries are currently being planned, and details will be revealed through the official site. Check out the site here.
