Monthly comic magazine ‘LaLa‘ has announced that the third season of the popular anime/manga series, “Natsume Yuujinchou“, will start airing in July!
Midorikawa Yuki’s “Natsume Yuujinchou” started serialization through LaLa back in 2003. The story follows protagonist Natsume Takashi, who has the ability to see spirits, or ‘ayakashi‘. With the aid of a feline spirit named Nyanko-sensei, Natsume works to give the ayakashi listed in his grandmother’s “Book of Friends” their names back.
The main voice-acting cast, including Kamiya Hiroshi (who plays Natsume) and Inoue Kazuhiko (who plays Nyanko-sensei), will reprise their roles in the new season. Suwabe Junichi will be joining the cast as ‘Matoba Seiji‘, the mysterious leader of the Matoba Clan who was mentioned but not seen in the second season.
